An email from the project manager on anti-bullying measures was presented. It states that it has been decided that 8 November will be Anti-Bullying Day. On the occasion of the day, a National Charter on Positive Relations will be signed. The project is run by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the Ministry of Welfare.
The Education Committee encourages nurseries and primary schools to review their anti-bullying checklists and procedures.

The SSH project group's report on education and specialist expertise was presented. The town council referred the report to the education committee for consideration.
The Director of the Department sat on the project group and presented the group's recommendations. The matter was referred to the group of nursery and primary school heads for discussion and will be back on the agenda of the Education Council at its next meeting.

A development grant agreement was submitted between the Ministry of Education and Culture and the City of Hafnarfjörður concerning the development of study programmes leading to the upper secondary school leaving examination within the framework of a multidisciplinary track in Hafnarfjörður. The agreement is based on a provision for the operation of the multidisciplinary track between the same parties.
