• 1110179 – Municipal budget 2011, revision

  A proposal for the revision of the 2011 budget was presented. The Finance Director and the Operations Managers of Family and Educational Services attended the meeting and presented the proposal. A timetable for the work on the 2012 budget will also be presented.

  The Town Council refers the proposal to the Town Board.

• 1110099 – Parliamentary Budget Committee, meeting of the municipal council 2011

  A communication from the Parliamentary Budget Committee dated 5 October 2011 is presented, announcing the committee's meetings with local authorities in the autumn of 2011. The meeting for Hafnarfjörður will be held on 4 November at 08:40.

• 1110185 – SSH Annual General Meeting and Annual Meetings of the Municipal Association

  A draft agenda was presented for the Annual General Meeting of SSH and the annual meetings of the community partnerships, to be held in Garðabær on 4 November.

• 11023019 – Leave Committee for Housewives in Hafnarfjörður, grant application 2011

  Taken up again. The mayor gave an account of the matter.

• 1110227 – SSH Future Group, Education and Special Expertise

  A report from the SSH project group on education and expertise was presented.

  The town council refers the matter to the education committee for discussion.

• 1110190 – Town Council, site visits

  At the end of the meeting, there will be a field trip to the Hafnarfjörður Folk Museum.

• 1110236 – Question, Town Council 20/10/2011

  Councillors from the Independence Party submit the following question: What different options or so-called scenarios have been considered and drawn up in the re-financing process for the Borough of Hafnarfjörður? Detailed information on this is requested, as it was reported at the town council meeting on 28 September that experts commissioned by the town had carried out such work and had presumably weighed and assessed the continuation of the refinancing process based on the potential consequences of the various options in this regard.

Applications

• 1110068 – Klukkuvellir 20-26, plot application

  A submission from Brynja, the housing fund of the Disabled People's Association, dated 4 October 2011, in which the above-mentioned plot is applied for. In addition, a waiver of the plot's development rights fee is requested. A report from the Planning and Building Department is presented.

  The town council instructs the mayor to interview the applicants.

Grants

• 1011032 – Women's Refuge, operating grant 2011

  A letter from the Women's Refuge dated 10 October 2011 was presented, requesting financial support for the running of the refuge for 2011 and 2012.

  The Town Council approves a grant of kr. 200,000 from the Town Council's grant-making budget, accounting code 21-815.$line$$line$Furthermore, the Town Council refers the request for 2012 for consideration during the 2012 budget process.

• 1110184 – Fríkirkjan in Hafnarfjörður, financial support

  A proposal from the Free Church of Hafnarfjörður, dated 15 October 2011, is presented, requesting financial support for the year 2012 for maintenance works.

  The town council refers the request for consideration during the 2012 budget process.

• 1110028 – Interpretation service for deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people.

  A request from the Communication Centre for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, dated 14 September 2011, has been submitted, requesting a grant in 2012 for interpretation in cultural and leisure activities.

  The town council refers the request for consideration during the 2012 budget process.

• 1101012 – Ski Area of the Capital Region, minutes 2011

  Drafts of the operating and implementation plan for the ski areas of the capital region for 2012, dated 12 October 2011, and proposals for the fee schedule were presented. Also presented were the minutes of the board meetings of 29 September and 12 October.

  The Town Council refers the operational and capital plan and the proposed fee schedules for consideration during the 2012 budget process.
