• 1109382 – Svöluás 38, Alteration

  Örn Tryggvi Gíslason is applying for an extension to a storage area in a garage. According to drawings by Reynir Kristjánsson, dated 16.09.11.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

• 1109379 – Furuás 47, Working drawings

  Ásta Sveinsdóttir and Kári Samúelsson submitted test drawings of Furuási 47 on 29.09.11. According to drawings by Sigrún Óladóttir, dated 15.09.11.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

• 1109386 – 8 Hamarsbraut, Alteration

  Jakob Ásmundarson and Guðbjörg H. Óskarsdóttir apply on 29/09/11 for a south-facing extension. New balconies connecting to existing ones, and a new staircase to the main entrance, which will be in the extension. According to drawings by Luigi Bartolozzi, dated 28/09/11.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

• 1110025 – Kríuás 41, amendment to building permit

  On 4 October 2011, Gudmundur Aðalsteinsson applied to alter the internal layout on the first and second floors in accordance with drawings by Jón Guðmundsson dated 21 September 2000, amended on 28 September 2011.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

• 1110024 – Kríuás 39, amendment to the building permit

  On 4 October 2011, Gunnar Smith applied to alter the internal layout on the first and second floors in accordance with drawings by Jón Guðmundsson dated 21 September 2000, amended on 28 September 2011.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

Part B: Organisational Matters

• 1109387 – Norðurbakki 13, 15 and 17, detailed plan and outdoor area.

  A proposal by Sigurður Gíslason, architect, of Norðurbakki 15, for an amendment to the local plan and the arrangement of the outdoor area at the houses Norðurbakki 13, 15 and 17, was submitted.

  The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Planning and Building Committee. A report is also requested from the Environment and Operations Department.

• 1110011 – Stuðlaberg 42. Kerb finish.

  A complaint has been received about an unfinished plot of land by the pavement at Stuðlaberg 42. The pavement has been dug up, creating a hazard for people walking there in the dark.

  The Planning and Building Officer requests that the plot holder complete the on-plot works at the kerb entry within four weeks. Failure to comply will result in the imposition of a daily fine in accordance with section 56 of the Building Regulations Act No. 160/2010.

• 1105201 – Kaplahraun 7a, plot and planning matters

  The letter from Snorri Hafsteinsson, on behalf of Rafhitunar ehf., dated 04.05.11, is reconsidered, in which a comment regarding poor upkeep of the site is addressed. The matter arises from poor upkeep of the plot bounded by Kaplahraun 7abcd, which is a shared access road where all property owners are supposed to have access to their own properties. On 20/05/11, the Planning and Building Officer proposed that the plot be subdivided and requested a proposal for this. If this is not submitted within 2 months, the planning and building officer will make a proposal for the subdivision. The request has not been addressed. A proposal from the planning and building department for the subdivision of the plot is presented.

  The planning and building officer sends the proposal to the relevant plot holder for comment.

• 1108263 – Álhella 3, working drawings

  On 25 August 2011, Geymslusvæðið ehf submitted test drawings for Álhellu 3, in accordance with drawings by Kjartan Rafnsson dated 1 June 2011. New drawings were received on 28 September 2011.

  The Planning and Building Officer has deferred the matter as the submitted documents are insufficient. Please see the attached comments.

• 1109358 – 16 Hamarsbraut, building permit

  Thröstur Valdimarsson submitted a building permit on 27.09.11. The building is constructed entirely within the building site and in accordance with the height limits. According to the drawings by Jón Guðmundsson, dated 19.09.11.

  The Planning and Building Officer has deferred the matter as the submitted documents are insufficient. Please see the attached comments.

• 1106071 – Hvaleyrarbraut 20, building permit

  On 08.06.11, Vélarafl ehf applies for a licence to fit out a machine workshop and offices (machine agency), to insulate and clad the external walls with aluminium cladding, and to create a new entrance hall and windows. According to drawings by Ólafur Óskar Axel Axelsson dated 06.06.11. New drawings were received on 26.07.2011 with stamps from the Health Authority and the Fire Service. A new registration board was received on 29.09.2011.

• 1110033 – Fornubúðir 12, alteration

  On 04.10.11, SIGN ehf applies for an extension to a workshop, in accordance with drawings by Hildur Bjarnadóttir dated 03.10.2011.

  The Planning and Building Officer has deferred the matter as the submitted documents are insufficient. Please see the attached comments.

• 1110046 – Hvaleyrarvatn, sprint rally

  In an email dated 26.09.11, Gudmundur Höskuldsson applies on behalf of the Reykjavik Motor Sports Club to hold a sprint rally at the end of October or the beginning of November at Hvaleyrarvatn.

  The Planning and Building Officer is negative towards the application. Hvaleyrarvatn and its surroundings are part of the hinterland of Hafnarfjörður and are intended as an outdoor recreation area with a variety of leisure activities, including horse riding, hiking and general outdoor recreation. Sprint racing is not compatible with these activities.
