Review the situation.
The Environment and Operations Committee calls for a conclusion regarding the construction of the nursing home by the working group on the Völlum Nursing Home, which was appointed by the town council.$line$$line$The representative of the Independence Party, Helga Ingólfsdóttir, requests that the following be recorded: “The outcome of the pre-qualification for the nursing home at Völlum, which was advertised in the summer of 2010, the process of pre-qualifying parties deemed eligible to participate in the tender for the project went so far that only one party was considered eligible to take part in the tender, based on the pre-qualification criteria. This outcome must lead to the pre-qualification for this project being re-run.$line$The councillor for the Independence Party expresses his surprise at the delays that have occurred in the resolution of the matter and urges the ruling coalition of the Social Democrats and the Left-wing Greens to conclude the matter without further delay.Only in this way will it be possible to continue to progress this important project.“
