The Culture and Tourism Committee expresses its disappointment that no response has yet been received from the Ministry of Education regarding the renewal of the agreement. The Committee met to discuss the matter with the Ministry on 13 April.

Draft agreement for the lease of sales outlets was presented. The rental rates for the premises, opening hours and other matters were discussed.
It was decided to keep last year's opening hours unchanged. The decision on house rental prices was postponed until the next meeting.

1011117 – Grindavík-Seltún, Service contract with Reykjanes Nature Reserve.
The cultural and tourism representative reported on a meeting with the warden of Reykjanes National Park and expressed visitors' satisfaction with the facilities at Seltún. The toilets will be open until the end of September, but there is interest in exploring how they could also be kept open during the winter.
