If this is not addressed, the Planning and Building Committee will refer the matter to the Town Council with a proposal for a daily fine in accordance with section 57 of the Planning and Building Act no. 73/1997.“ The matter has not been addressed. The owner attended an interview on 29/12/10 and promised to tidy the plot, but nothing has yet been done in this regard.

The Planning and Building Officer imposes a daily fine on the owner in accordance with the Buildings Act, section 56, subsection 2, of 20,000 krónur per day from 1 September 2011, if the request is not complied with by that date.
