• 10101145 – Harbour Master, appointment 2010

  The Ministry of the Interior's ruling on an administrative appeal concerning the appointment of a harbourmaster was presented.

• 1010890 – Plan 2011, Hafnarfjörður Harbour

  Review the harbour's 2011 budget, with particular regard to its debt position.

  Discussion was held regarding the refinancing of the loan taken out by the harbour authority to complete the works at Hvaleyrarbakki. The loan is due for repayment in January 2012. The Chairman of the Harbour Board reported that the loan was being refinanced by the municipal treasury, as the loan was originally taken from the Hafnarfjörður municipal treasury and was part of a loan taken by the treasury from Depfa Bank, which is now in bankruptcy proceedings. The Harbour Board also agrees to instruct the harbour master to review the harbour's existing long-term plan and to make proposals for a revised plan in light of the changed loan terms.;

  A feasibility report by Efla was presented on the possibility of constructing a cold store at the Port of Hafnarfjörður.

  The Harbour Board agrees to arrange a meeting with the stakeholders in the matter.;

  An overview of the preparations for Seafarers' Day in Hafnarfjörður.

  It has been agreed that the harbour fund will pay for a trip for town residents on the upcoming Seafarers' Day.;

  To review the status of the planning for the plots at 29–31 Óseyrarbraut.
