The committee is positive about adding life to the garden and strengthening the town's foundations as a fairy town in this way. Reference is made to the requested opinions and it is emphasised that consultation will be held with the town's horticultural manager and the Hafnarfjörður Property Association. A proposal has been submitted from Ingvi Hraunfjörð Ingvason requesting permission to operate a caravan park on the North Bank for an initial period of one year.
Reference is made to the refusal of the application by the planning and building officer, who reiterates that this use is not provided for in the detailed plan for the North Bank. The committee would also like to add that motorhomes were considered in the development that took place at the Hafnarfjörður campsite in Víðistaðatún during the summer of 2009.

A meeting between two board members of Reykjanes National Park and the town's staff was reported, at which matters concerning Seltún were reviewed for the coming summer. The meeting was attended by Sverrir Bollason, chair of the organisation, Óskar Sævarsson, Helga Stefánsdóttir, Dagur Jónsson and Marín Hrafnsdóttir.
It was decided to request that Helena Mjöll Jóhannsdóttir, the representative of the City of Hafnarfjörður on the board of Reykjanes National Park, attend the next committee meeting to go over the matter in more detail.
