Part A of building permits

• 1103371 – Flyscheið 12, alteration

  On 21 March 2011, Elías Skúli Skúlason applied for a variation to previously approved plans, with changes to the building description, dimensions and slope table, in accordance with drawings by Sæmundur Eiríksson dated 14 March 2011.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of clauses 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations have been met.;

• 1103383 – Sléttuhlíð F2, renewal of building permit

  Helgi Laxdal is applying for the renewal of a building permit from September 2008. Drawings by Sigurður Hilmar Ólafsson.

  The Planning and Building Officer agrees to extend the building permit.;

• 1102186 – Straumsvík, Héðinn Ltd, temporary permit/building permit

  On 1 February 2011, Héðinn hf applied for planning permission for a 30m x 6.2m work site on the Alcan site in Straumsvík, which will remain in place until 1 February 2012. See attached documents. Drawings were received following comments made at the meeting on 02/02/11.

  The Planning and Building Officer grants the requested building permit for two years. After this period, the building permit expires and the buildings must be removed.;

Part B: Organisational Matters

• 1103379 – Hvaleyrarbraut 20. Enquiry

  Hvaleyrarbraut 20 ehf submitted an enquiry on 21 March 2011. The matter concerns the internal fit-out of the existing premises for a machinery dealership and a plant workshop, and the removal of easements for an oil pipeline and for traffic between plots 20 and 22.

  The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Planning and Building Committee and the Harbour Board.;

• 1103361 – German farmstead at Straum, dwelling house

  Steinunn J. Pálsdóttir and Kristján J. Jónsson apply by letter dated 20 March 2011 to build a dwelling house at Þýzkubúð við Straum.

  The Planning and Building Officer points out that the house is within the aluminium smelter's thinning zone and requests a discussion with the applicant regarding the application.;

• 0811126 – Kríuás 45, final inspection

  Submitted on 14 March 2011.

  The Planning and Building Officer confirms that the inspection carried out is considered to fulfil all the requirements of a final inspection, as the necessary documentation has been submitted.;

• 1003299 – Steinhella 10, stage of construction and use

  Steinhella 10, which is at bst. 4 and mst. 8, is in full use. The planning and building officer required the owners to provide information on the matter within two weeks. If they are not provided, the matter will be referred to the Planning and Building Committee with a proposal for a fine in accordance with section 57 of the Planning and Building Act no. 73/1997. A letter was received on 06.04.10 requesting an extension of time to address the matter. Nothing has happened since then. The matter was discussed at a meeting of the Planning and Building Officer on 24 November 2010, who referred it to the Planning and Building Committee, which on 30 November 2010 required the owners to apply for a final inspection within three weeks. An extension was granted until 01.02.11, but the matter has not been finalised.

  The Planning and Building Officer advises the owner to appoint a new building supervisor and to call for a final inspection in accordance with Article 36 of the Construction Act No. 160/2010.

  On 21 March 2011, Hafnarfjörður Municipality and the State Property Agency submitted drawings for approval.

  Ragnar Björnsson ehf submitted on 18 March 2011 test drawings of Dalshraun in 8, in accordance with the drawings by Jón Hlöðversson dated 16 March 2011.
