  Lagður fram undirskriftarlisti starfsmanna leikskólans Víðivalla þar sem mótmælt er afnámi starfsmannaafsláttar á leikskólagjöldum.%0D%0DLögð fram eftirfarandi tillaga um breytingu á gjaldskrá leikskóla:%0D„Fræðsluráð samþykkir eftirfarandi breytingu á gildandi samþykkt um gjaldskrá leikskóla:%0DFyrir fyrstu ½ klst./dag/mán umfram 8,5 klst., greiðast 3.500 kr. á mánuði en fyrir hverja ½ klst. eftir það greiðast 7.000 kr. %0DSkv. þessu eru allt að 8,5 klst./dag/mán. verulega niðurgreiddur. Að öðru leyti er samþykkt fræðsluráðs um gjaldskrá leikskóla frá 13. desember 2010 óbreytt og tekur þessi breyting gildi strax.“%0D
  
  The proposal was unanimously approved. Representatives of the Independence Party wish to record:
  Representatives of the Independence Party have not supported the majority's tariff changes for 2011 and still maintain that fundamental position. However, this amendment does, to some extent, meet the concerns of parents of nursery school children, and we support the effort shown in the proposal.

11022016 – Good deed of the day, Good Deed Days 2011, grant request

A grant application dated 11 February 2011, from the Federation of Icelandic Scouts, to hold the Good Deeds Days 2011, which will take place from 21 to 25 February, was submitted.

The Education Council cannot comply with the request.;

11021819 – School calendar 2011-2012

Lagðar fram samþykktir frá fundum skólastjóra leik- og grunnskóla í Hafnarfirði varðandi gerð skóladagatals næsta skólaárs 2011-2012.%0D%0Dí grunnskólum verður skólasetningardagur 23. ágúst og sameiginlegir skipulagsdagar verða 27. september, 17. nóvember, 3. janúar, 5. mars og 18. maí. Skólar hafi val um það hvort þeir hafi vetrarfrí. Heimilt er að velja um vetrarfrí að hausti 20. og 21. október og/eða að vori 1. og 2. mars.%0D%0DÍ leikskólum verði sameiginlegir skipulagsdagar 27. september, 17. nóvember, 2. janúar, 5. mars og 18. maí.

School premises

Lögð fram svohljóðandi tillaga fulltrúa Sjálfstæðisflokksins í fræðsluráði:%0D„Lagt er til að fræðsluráð, í samvinnu við Fasteignafélag Hafnarfjarðarbæjar, láti gera úttekt á hvaða húsnæði er nú þegar til í eigu bæjarins og annarra, sem nota megi til skólahalds í bænum á komandi misserum. Í ljósi þröngrar fjárhagsstöðu bæjarins um þessar mundir er lítið svigrúm til framkvæmda og því mikilvægt að nýta þá kosti sem þegar eru til staðar.%0D %0DHorft er til þess að þessi úttekt geti orðið liður í að leysa húsnæðisvandamál skóla í Vallahverfi á komandi misserum. Með því megi jafnframt standa vörð um starf Barnaskóla Hjallastefnunnar við Hjallabraut, komast hjá brottflutningi skólans og framkvæmdum sem nemi yfir 90 milljónir króna, en í staðinn tryggja bænum leigutekjur af barnaskólanum, sem nemi um 6 milljónum króna á ári.“%0D %0D

The proposal was defeated by three votes; the Independence Party members approved it.

Memorandum from the representatives of the Left-Greens and the Social Democratic Alliance:

„All proposals for increased efficiency should be welcomed, provided the proposals are realistic and add something to the work already being done. Work is already underway by staff in the council's Development Department and the Education Office to solve the problem by exploring options that require less investment, such as relocating and using portable classrooms at Hjallabraut to fulfil the council's obligations to the residents and children of Vallahverfi. It is the responsibility of the education authorities to meet the need for school accommodation for the residents of the Valla district – and the available premises are on Hjallabraut.“

10021349 – Northern Area, School Organisation

The ruling of the Ministry of the Interior in administrative case no. 37/2010, Örn Guðmundsson v. the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður, delivered on 14 February 2011, is hereby presented. The ruling is as follows: The request of Örn Guðmundsson, registration no. 220961-2739, to annul the decision of the Hafnarfjörður Town Council of 21 April 2010 to merge Engidalsskóli and Víðistaðaskóli is dismissed.

A cost-saving plan for primary schools was presented.

The parent representative for primary school children left the meeting at 10:10.;

11023156 – Suggestion from mmr regarding Öldutúnsskóli

Lagt fram bréf dags. 18. febrúar 2011 vegna ábendingar um að í Öldutúnsskóla fái nemendur í 8., 9., og 10. bekk einungis kennslu í 80 mínútur á viku í hverjum árgangi í stað 120 mínútna skv. gildandi aðalnámskrá. Jafnframt er óskað upplýsinga um hvernig íþróttakennslu er fyrir komið 8., 9. og 10. bekk í grunnskólum Hafnarfjarðar.%0DÞá er óskað eftir upplýsingum um viðmið grunnskólanna í tengslum við undanþágur frá skyldunámi í íþróttum og skólasundi samanber 15. gr. laga um grunnskóla nr. 9/2008.
