The committee is in agreement that a request for talks should be made to the Ministry of Education regarding the status of the Gaflar Theatre, in light of the decision by the Theatre Council. To review the theatre's next projects, including the running of courses in collaboration with the Hafnarfjörður School Office.;

11021243 – The Icelandic Film Archive and Bæjarbíó.
Þórarinn Guðnason, director of the National Film Archive of Iceland, and Erlendur Sveinsson attended the meeting to review the archive's screening programme at Bæjarbíó.
Decided to request talks with the Ministry of Education to discuss the way forward, as the agreement between the City of Hafnarfjörður and the Ministry concerning the Film Archive expires at the end of this year.
