    • 0705093 – Strandgata 86, plot application

      Review the approved minutes of the Planning and Building Committee from 18 January.

      The Harbour Board agrees to enter into a contract with the Þyt Sailing Club for the lease of the plot of land at 86 Strandgata for 3 years, with a 1-year notice period. The lease may be extended by one year at a time, at the discretion of the Harbour Board.

      The tenant shall not be permitted to erect any structures on the plot during the lease term, but shall be permitted to fence it at their own expense, and the fence must comply with the requirements of the planning and building officer and the harbour master.
      The lessee shall be obliged to take good care of the plot.

  • 1003282 – The Lighthouse, boundary of the plot at 12 Lighthouse Street

    A submission from Helgi Arndal, 12 Vitastíg, regarding nuisance from the location of the lighthouse at Vitastíg.

    The Harbour Board agrees that a report will be prepared on the plots of land adjacent to the lighthouse, and that work will be carried out in accordance with the relevant formal plot plans. 

    Furthermore, the harbour board agrees to instruct the harbour master to reply to the letter writer that the harbour is not responsible for encroachment onto his plot of land.
