1011080 – Hafnarfjörður Sports Festival 2012
The programme for the celebration, to be held in the Sports Hall on Strandgata on Friday, 28th December, has been presented. at 18:00. A total of 505 Icelandic champions, 13 team cup champions, and 5 individuals for their Nordic championship titles will be honoured. A swimming team that swam the English Channel last autumn will also be recognised, along with 5 individuals. Awards will also be presented to sports clubs for Icelandic and Cup Championship titles in the top divisions, for a total of 7 groups, with a total sum of kr. 2,100,000$line$$line$Sports- and Recreation Committee approves the nomination of Hafnarfjörður's Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year 2012, and the outstanding performers of the sports clubs in Hafnarfjörður who have excelled during the year. Also approved is the nomination for the 2012 Sports Team of the Year. It is attached on a separate sheet and sent to the Family Council for consideration.

Draft proposals for the allocation of grants to the sports clubs under the relevant agreement for the sports activities of 16-year-olds and younger, taking into account the educational component for coaches and the development of the clubs' curricula, and the total amount thereof in kr. Kr. 6,000,000. The grants will be presented at the Sports Festival on 28 December.
