• 0905063 – Krýsuvík, boundary dispute

  The Supreme Court's ruling regarding the western boundary of Krýsuvík was presented, in which the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður was acquitted of claims by various parties concerning a boundary dispute. Jónas Þór Guðmundsson, the municipality's lawyer in the case, attended the meeting and went over the ruling.

• 0703293 – National grid, high-voltage lines, alteration

  A new addendum to the existing agreement was considered, but the town council deferred a decision on the matter and referred it back to the town board at its meeting on 10 October. Representatives from Landsnet attended the meeting.

  The Town Council refers the attached addendum, as amended, to the Borough Council, subject to the approval of Landsnet.

• 1108166 – Equality plan with an action plan

  Report of the Equality Officer on the status and development of equality matters in the City of Hafnarfjörður, dated October 2012.

• 1202078 – STH, pay and conditions

  A resolution from the general meeting of the Hafnarfjörður Staff Association (STH) held on 8 October was presented. The personnel manager and representatives of STH attended the meeting.

  The town council instructs the mayor to attend the planned STH meeting.

• 1208427 – Disabled people, housing

  Taken up again. The Director of Family Services and the Project Manager for Disability Affairs attended the meeting and went over a memorandum on the matter.

  The town council instructs the mayor to proceed with the matter on the basis of the existing memorandum.

• 1210069 – Secondary schools, school boards, election

  A letter from the Ministry of Education and Culture, dated 26 September 2012, was presented, requesting nominations for the school boards of the Iðnskólinn in Hafnarfjörður and Flensborgarskóli. The City of Hafnarfjörður appoints 2 representatives to each school board and an equal number of substitutes.

  Election of representatives referred to the town council.

• 1210332 – Care Home at Völlum 7, Sólvellir ses

  A submission from the law firm Sókn, on behalf of Sólvalla ses, dated 10 October 2012, has been received, requesting discussions regarding the outcome of the previous pre-qualification process.

  The Town Council refers the matter to the Mayor.

• 1206354 – Ring Road 3, amendment to MHL.02

  The submission from Furu ehf, dated 28 September 2012, regarding street construction charges for the new building on the plot is presented.

  The Town Council requests a report from the Planning and Building Officer.

• 10021070 – Employment Service, Hafnarfjörður Employment Centre

  Proposal for a change of location for the Employment Centre within the administration.

• 1210361 – Budget of the mayor and his companies 2013-2016.

  The general assumptions for the preparation of the 2013 budget were reviewed. The areas of responsibility under the Town Council were also reviewed. The main dates for the approval of the plan were also reviewed.

  The town council instructs the mayor to request an extension to submit the documentation for the 10-year adjustment plan to the Municipal Financial Supervisory Board, in parallel with the processing of the budget. $line$

• 1210335 – Health surveillance for the Hafnarfjörður and Kópavogur area, budget and fee schedules for 2013

  The financial budget and fee schedules for the health surveillance of the Hafnarfjörður and Kópavogur area for 2012 were presented. These concern the fee schedules for health and pollution control surveillance, and for the keeping of dogs.Also, a new by-law for the keeping of farm animals and general pet ownership in Hafnarfjörður, in accordance with the relevant resolution which was confirmed on 2 July.

  The town council refers the financial plan to the budget committee but refers the following proposal to the town council.“The Town Council approves the proposals of the Health Surveillance Authority for the Hafnarfjörður and Kópavogur area for amendments to its fee schedules.“

• 1210285 – Sorpa bs, 2013 operating plan and five-year operating plan 2013-2017

  The 2013 operating plan for Sorpa bs was presented, together with the five-year operating plan for 2013-2017.

  The town council refers the operating plan to the preparation of the budget.

• 1210359 – SSH Annual General Meeting 2012

  Reminder of the SSH general meeting, to be held on 26/10.

• 1208419 – Advisory referendum 20 October 2012

  Corrections to the electoral register were submitted. Seven individuals have died since the electoral register was first drawn up, one person gained the right of citizenship with their home address in Hafnarfjörður, One person has moved in after living abroad for 8 years, and three people have changed their address.

  The Town Council confirms the above changes.

• 1206270 – Finance Committee, meeting of local authorities 2012

  A memorandum from the meeting with the Budget Committee on 15 October was presented.

Applications

• 1210123 – Dalshraun 11, application for plot enlargement and increase in parking spaces

  A proposal from the residents' association of Dalshrauni 11, dated 25 June 2012, was presented, requesting the enlargement of the aforementioned plot and an increase in parking spaces.The Planning and Building Officer's processing meeting was positive towards the application at its meeting on 15 August, but referred to the fact that a proposal for the parking arrangement at Dalshraun is currently being prepared.
