• 1206124 – Minutes, rules on supporting documents

  The Mayor presented the City of Hafnarfjörður's rules on the publication of appendices to minutes. The rules came into effect on 1 October 2012.

• Budget, settlement and annual accounts 2013

  To review the assumptions for the operational and financial plan of the Port of Hafnarfjörður for 2013, along with the port's financial plan for the years 2014 to 2016.

  Various assumptions for the preparation of the budget were discussed, and the Harbour Board agrees to present a budget for the Port of Hafnarfjörður for first reading on 9 October.

• 1202073 – Strategic planning of the Culture and Tourism Committee in tourism.

  A proposal was put forward for the harbour board's review of the draft tourism strategy for Hafnarfjörður.

  The Harbour Board agrees to adopt the draft in substance and instructs the harbour master to submit the proposals to the Tourism Committee.

• 1209253 – Complaint about noise from the harbour

  A report from the Health Surveillance Authority for the Hafnarfjörður and Kópavogur area, dated 28 September 2012, was presented, signed: Páll Stefánsson, Public Health Officer. Also presented at the meeting was a licence for the demolition of a ship and the transport of waste for disposal or recycling, dated 6 September 2012, signed by Guðmundur H. Einarsson, Managing Director.

  In light of the report from the Health Inspectorate, the Port Authority sees no reason for any special measures in respect of this complaint. The Port Authority expects that the port's operations will be conducted with the highest possible noise protection.
