Comments from art and craft teachers in Hafnarfjörður's primary schools were presented.$line$$line$Representatives of the Independence Party wish to record:$line$$line$Statement of the development representative on artand the report of the development representative on art and vocational education, together with the comments of art and vocational subject teachers, confirm that the number of hours in the subjects in question is not sufficient in Hafnarfjörður under the current national curriculum. When periods for art and craft subjects were cut, it no longer enabled schools to comply with the law on the number of teaching hours. It is imperative that this situation is addressed as soon as possible. 0907038 – Fee schedules in the education sector
The Operations Manager for Educational Services went over the nursery fee schedule and additional discounts.
For information.$line$$line$ Representatives of the Independence Party wish to record: $line$$line$ Representatives of the Independence Party abstained from the initial decision-making when the current rules and income thresholds were introduced. It is clear that the income thresholds, especially for single parents, are very low. There is cause for concern about discrepancies in the fee structure for nursery school charges for priority groups between municipalities. It is important to review the fee schedule in light of the information provided. $line$$line$ Helga Ingólfsdóttir (sign)$line$ Sigurlaug Anna Jóhannsdóttir (sign)$line$$line$Representatives of the Social Democratic Party and the Left-Green Party wish to record:$line$$line$With the current arrangement, the objective of supporting lower-income groups is achieved, thereby promoting greater equality.$line$$line$ Eyjólfur Sæmundsson (sign)$line$ Helena Mjöll Jóhannsdóttir (sign)$line$ Gestur Svavarsson (sign)$line$$line$
