Part A of building permits

• 1209061 – Bjarkavellir 1b, amendment to building permit

  On 06.09.12, Valhús ehf applies to alter the roof in accordance with drawings by Sigurður Þorvarðarson dated 27.08.12.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations have been fulfilled. This includes the site layout, which must include a covenant for the fence at Kirkjuvellir in accordance with the detailed plan. Furthermore, the previous building permit is revoked in accordance with the 2nd paragraph of Article 14 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. Article 13 of the Building Regulations: 1. The structure and its use are in accordance with the area's planning schemes.$line$ 2. The main and specialist drawings have been reviewed and the licensing authority has endorsed them to confirm approval.$line$ 3. Building permit fees and other required charges have been paid, such as the road construction fee in accordance with the provisions of the Road Construction Fee Act, and the parking fee or fee for planning work in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, or an agreement has been made for their payment. However, fees that are not due for payment until the building permit is issued are excluded.$line$ 4. The building supervisor has signed a declaration of their responsibility and submitted to the licensing authority the signed declarations of responsibility from the tradesmen who will be responsible for individual parts of the work.

• 1208168 – Skipalón 5, building permit

  Fjarðarmót applies on 14.08.12 to build a 32-apartment block of flats with a fifth floor gallery and a secure underground car park. According to drawings by Sigurlaug Sigurjónsdóttir dated 14.08.12. It is requested that the building be constructed in accordance with the older regulations, pursuant to the transitional provisions of Building Regulations No. 112/2012. The application was considered at a meeting of the Planning and Building Officer on 22 August 2012, who referred it to the Planning and Building Committee.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Act no. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Act have been fulfilled:$line$1. • 1209032 – Steinhella 12, alteration

  On 04.09.2012, Xyzeta ehf applies for a change of floor level in spaces 0101, 0102, 0106, 0107, 0108, and 0114, in accordance with drawings by Davíð Karlsson dated 03.09.2012.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

• 1208507 – Steinhella 17a, building permit

  On 29 August 2012, Steinhella 17 ehf applied for a licence to fit out an office and showroom in the north end of the building and to install new windows and a door in the existing door on the east side, in accordance with drawings by Þorsteinn Friðþjófsson, dated. 04.02.06 New drawings received on 06.09.2012.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

• 1209159 – Helluhraun 16-18, demolition of timber shelter

  Eik Property Company applied on 11 September 2012 to demolish assessment unit 01-02 of the timber shelter due to a change to the plan at Helluhraun 16-18.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations Act No. 160/2010. A professional licence must be applied for from the Public Health Officer for the Hafnarfjörður and Kópavogur area.

• 1209098 – Brúsastaðir 2, temporary planning permission

  Börkur Jónsson, registration no. 021172-4569, on 06.09.12 applies for a temporary planning permission for a temporary works building for works to a dwelling.

  The Planning and Building Officer issues a one-year temporary permit for the temporary building.

Part B: Organisational Matters

• 1209136 – Middle Avenue 41. Question

  On 10 September 2012, Jón I Garðarsson ehf submitted an enquiry regarding a change of use from a commercial building to a residential building. New information has been submitted. See also the attached documents.

  The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Planning and Building Committee.

• 1205148 – 34 Hverfisgata, query regarding an extension

  Ásmundur Þórðarson of 34 Hverfisgata submits a new query to extend the house in accordance with the attached drawing, dated 10.09.2012.

  The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Planning and Building Committee.

• 1207128 – Brekkuás bus stop, change to the local plan

  To consider a proposal from the Department of Environment and Operations to amend the detailed plan for Phase 3 of Ásland to locate a bus stop, in accordance with the attached drawing. The proposal was advertised on 31 July 2012 in accordance with Section 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010. The consultation period has closed; no comments were received.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application and that the matter be concluded in accordance with Section 42 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.

• 11032656 – Gjáhella 3, site tidiness.

  The upkeep of the grounds at Gjáhella 3 is significantly lacking. See the photos taken on site for further details.

  The City Planner requires the occupier, Fasteignaskoðun Reykjavík ehf, to improve the upkeep within three weeks.

• 1209056 – Vörðuberg 20, question to the planning and building officer

  Vardarbær 20, query to the planning and building officer.

  The Planning and Building Officer welcomes the application, but points out that three copies of the drawings must be submitted in accordance with section 4.3.1 of the Building Regulations No. 112/2012.
