Jóhann Bjarni Skúlason, on behalf of the Road Administration, requests in an email dated 29 August 2012 that the old gravel quarry be finalised by levelling it out and sowing the scar. See attached documents.

1208395 – Holtsgata 21.marked parking spaces
On 23 August 2012, Miroslav Bartlewski applied for a permit for marked parking spaces at two locations. A drawing showing the location of the spaces is attached, along with supporting documents from the estate agency Ás regarding the property. A report from the Department of Environment and Operations is available.
Plot holders are permitted to reserve parking spaces within their own plots, but properties are not permitted to reserve parking spaces on council land unless a specific approval relating to mobility impairment is in place.

On 4 September 2012, EV 17 ehf submitted an enquiry to convert the caretaker's flat on the west side of the upper floor into a catering operation in the west part of the ground floor, and 8-10 offices in the remaining space.

The meter readings need to be corrected due to an update to the HS-Orka land lease agreement.

1209042 – 2 Linnetsstígur, sign on the house
The Environment and Operations Department of Hafnarfjörður has received a complaint regarding a sign on house number 2 at Linnetsstíg, where the shop Sigga&Timo has put up a sign designating the car park spaces for the shop.
The Planning and Building Officer advises the owner of the sign that the car park in front of the building is owned by the City of Hafnarfjörður, and it is therefore not permitted to reserve the spaces for a single shop. The sign must be removed.

1209033 – Flugskeið 22, construction stage and inspections
Aircraft shed 22 is registered on plot 2; the last recorded inspection of the walls was on 7 September 2009. According to the aerial photograph on the Land Registry website, the structure appears to be fully built.
The planning and building officer requires the owner and the building supervisor to apply for an interim certificate within three weeks, and for a final certificate upon completion.

1112190 – Kríuás 17 a and b, final inspection
The Planning and Building Officer summoned the building supervisor, Jóhann G. Hlöðversson, for a final inspection on 19 March 2012 at 15:00, in accordance with Article 36 of the Construction Act No. 160/2010. The building surveyor was required to take the measures stipulated by the law. Should he fail to comply, the planning and building officer would apply the provisions of Articles 56 and 57 of the same law regarding daily fines and a reprimand. The request has not been addressed.
The Planning and Building Officer imposes a daily fine of kr. 20,000 on the building supervisor, Jóhann G. Hlöðversson, from 01.10.2012, in accordance with section 56 of the Building Act, should he fail to respond to the request by that date. Furthermore, a request for a reprimand will be sent to the Building Authority in accordance with the same article of the Act.

0909005 – Gjáhella 11, stage of construction and use
According to the property register, the house is still listed as being at construction stage 1, even though it is fully completed and has been put into use, and that the mandatory inspections have not been carried out, including the certificate of occupancy. According to the terms, the house was to be handed over shell-complete on 7 October 2008 and fully completed on 7 April 2009. On 14.12.10, the Planning and Building Committee required the owners to register a building supervisor for the project and to reapply for a certificate of occupancy within 3 weeks. The request had not been complied with. On 12/01/12, the Planning and Building Officer reiterated the Planning and Building Board's resolution. If the request is not complied with within four weeks, the Planning and Building Officer will impose daily fines on the owners in accordance with the powers under the Building Regulations Act no. 160/2010. The request has not been addressed. The Planning and Building Officer has imposed daily fines on the owners in accordance with section 56 of the Act on Buildings, as the letters appear not to have been delivered.
The Planning and Building Officer is postponing the imposed daily fines. The bankruptcy estate of SÆ 14 ehf must vacate all operations from the building or, alternatively, submit corrected plans so that a certificate of substantial completion can be issued. It is the duty of the bankruptcy estate and the estate agent to inform the purchaser that the building is not constructed in accordance with the drawings and is not at a habitable standard. The planning and building officer will require new owners to take action in accordance with the law and regulations if the building is to be put into use.$line$
