  1. General presentations

    • Budget, settlement and annual accounts 2012

      The Harbour Master presented an Operational Report for the first six months of the 2012 financial year. Furthermore, he presented an overview of vessel arrivals and cargo volumes for the same period.

      It is clear that the operating position is in good line with the 2012 financial plan, and vessel arrivals and cargo volumes are similar to last year.

      The harbour master reviewed the situation regarding 29 Óseyrarbraut.

    • 1112202 – Óseyrarbraut 31, site and construction matters

      The harbour master reviewed the situation regarding Óseyrarbraut 31.

    • 1112128 – Environmental Policy of the Port of Hafnarfjörður

      The harbour master reviewed the harbour staff's work on formulating the harbour's environmental policy and how far it has progressed. He also reported on a plan for the reception of waste from ships, which is being finalised.

      The Port Authority agreed that the next year's accounts will include a section on the port's environmental policy and its implementation. $line$Furthermore, the Harbour Board agreed to instruct Bjarni Sveinsson to discuss hygiene in fish transport on harbour premises with Matís.It was agreed to instruct the harbour master to prepare a memorandum with proposals for the next steps in these matters.
