Vegetable gardens

The Hafnarfjörður vegetable gardens are for all residents, both families and individuals, for a small fee. You need to bring your own vegetables and other growing materials, but you will have access to water and basic tools.

The allotments are located in Öldutún and Víðistaðir. The allotments are handed over in a weeded condition and allocation begins at the end of May. When registering, you must select your preferred council area and allotment site (Öldutún Allotment Site/Víðistaðir Allotment Site).
