Proposal for an amendment to the detailed plan for the North Town

On 29 March 2023, the Hafnarfjörður Town Council resolved to advertise a proposal for an amendment to the detailed plan for the North Town, in accordance with section 1 of Article 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.

The change involves a new cycle and pedestrian path along Herjólfsbraut with a connection to Heiðvang. The path connects to the Kópavogur path network to the north. At the same time, the boundaries of the Norðurbær local plan are being amended.

The amendment proposal will be on display at the Department of Environment and Planning at Norðurhellu 2 and at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre, Strandgata 6, from 6.4 – 25.5.2023. The outline plan can also be viewed below.
