Díana Margrét Hrafnsdóttir is opening an exhibition at LG on Thursday, 15th June. The exhibition features brand-new works that Díana has been working on for the past few months, and is titled „From Another World“. An additional exhibition weekend of works by Díana Margrét Hrafnsdóttir will be held from 23rd to 25th June.

Is another world our imagination or reality?

Diana Margrét graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in the spring of 2000 with a BA degree in Fine Art. Before and during her studies, she studied ceramics at the Reykjavík School of Visual Arts. She has also attended various other courses related to art creation.

Diana Margrét has held several solo exhibitions in Iceland and taken part in group exhibitions at home and abroad. Since graduating, she has taught art in nurseries and primary schools alongside her artistic practice.

Diana Margrét was born and raised in Hafnarfjörður, and her work bears witness to the environment of her childhood; the mystery of the lava fields and the forces of nature.

Diana Margrét is a member of the Icelandic Graphic Designers' Association and the Association of Icelandic Visual Artists (SÍM).

A special exhibition opening will be held on Thursday, 15th June from 18:00-20:00, and everyone is most welcome.
