Sketches // Sigurjón Már Svanbergsson
Sketching is not about precision but rather about capturing the main points, form and movement on paper. To achieve this…
The exhibition 'Tvíeyki' is about pairs and opposing symmetries.
The human being is created from the union of two cells, and countless symmetries can be found throughout the entire world. Could it be that everything around us is created from the union of two?
Tvíeyki is a love letter to opposites and their attraction, like two magnets that can't help but click together, bubbles rising from water that inevitably merge, or two individuals who find each other in a sea of people and fall in love.

The exhibition Tvíeyki (Duo) deals with opposites and symmetries. What do they have in common and what separates them? Does beauty lie in contrast or in symmetry? How different do these two sides have to be to be considered two? Tvíeyki is a love letter to opposites and their attraction.,
Like two magnets that cannot help but collide, or bubbles rising from the water and inevitably unite at the finish line. Or two individuals who find each other in a sea of people and fall in love.
