South Bay Pool closed for maintenance from 10 June.
The South Bay Pool will be closed for approximately two weeks from Monday, 10th June, for maintenance and refurbishment both indoors and outdoors. The closure will affect all activities in the building. The main reason for the closure is essential tiling repairs in the pool shell, which requires the swimming pool to be drained. Other maintenance work will also be carried out at the same time.

The swimming pool is open at weekends during the closure.
While the South Bay Pool is closed, the Hafnarfjörður Swimming Pool, which is normally closed at weekends, will be open on weekends. On Saturdays, the pool will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Regular visitors and other swimming pool patrons are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
