Sunday, 15th December, 1 pm - 3 pm We invite children and families to come and take part in a cosy Christmas card workshop at Hafnarborg, where we will have the opportunity to get to know one another through different festive traditions. We will be painting Christmas cards and writing festive greetings in various languages to celebrate the community's rich cultural diversity. All materials for making the Christmas cards will be provided, along with gingerbread biscuits and a festive atmosphere. The workshop will be led by Unnur Mjöll S. Leifsdóttir.

The Christmas card workshop takes place in the Pharmacy on the first floor of the museum, and children are advised to be accompanied by an adult. As usual, participation in the workshop is free of charge for visitors, as is admission to the museum's exhibitions. The workshop is part of the 'In My Language' event series, which aims to welcome visitors to the museum in different languages and thereby increase access to Hafnarborg for people from diverse backgrounds. The series is supported by the Museum Fund.
