Elf Festival in Hellisgerði 🧚♀️✨
Festival in Hellisgerði – Sunday, 16th August 🌿🧚♀️✨ Come and enjoy the day in Hellisgerði where elves, adventures and joy…
This exhibition features paintings I have been working on over the past year. They are all painted on paper with watercolour and acrylic paint.
For the past few years, I have been attending Yoga Nidra classes. These classes are on Fridays at the Yoga Shala, under the guidance of Stefán Atli Thoroddsen. It is a lying-down yoga where the teacher guides a meditation.
Towards the end of the meditation, one usually embarks on a journey where the teacher evokes images of a particular world. Most often, it is a world of beauty and nature.
Attending these classes has enabled me to bring out images that are freer from my own perception and thoughts on beauty.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
