The Christmas Village – a unique entertainment for the family
Yes, this is the third weekend of the Christmas Village. We've found our rhythm. Joy will reign supreme.
A photo with Sveinki, dancing with the VÆB brothers, having some hot chocolate and treats. It'll be great to stop by the glass houses at Thorsplan, our experience houses:
- Friday: Herjólfsgufan and Feel Iceland
- Saturday: Gústi design produces high-quality Icelandic craftsmanship, fine chopping boards and more. The products can be personalised with an engraving.
- Sunday: Spotless, cheaper, simpler, more sustainable and more reliable Christmas cleaning!
And the programme is excellent. The main points:
- On Friday
- 4:00 p.m. The switching on of the Christmas lights at the old Lækjarskóli
- 19:00 VÆB arrive at the Christmas Village on Thorsplan
- On Saturday
- 15:00 The Lotta Theatre Group arrives at the Christmas Village
- 3 pm – 4 pm Cotton candy on a stick at the Grýla Cave by the Museum's Packhouse
- On Sunday
- 2pm – 4pm Photoshoot with Sveinka on the stage at Thorsplan
- 3 pm – 4 pm Cotton candy on a stick at the Grýla Cave by the Museum's Packhouse
