What are you doing on Tuesday evening? Ingibjörg Valgeirsdóttir from Saga Story House and horticulturist Guðríður Helgadóttir are leading a fun educational evening for the City of Hafnarfjörður at Bæjarbíó at 8 p.m.

A green and good life at Bæjarbíó!

Does being outdoors and gardening affect people's lifestyles? Why should we cultivate our environment? Ingibjörg Valgeirsdóttir from Saga Story House and Guðríður Helgadóttir, a horticulturist, will lead a fun educational evening for the City of Hafnarfjörður and answer these questions. Ingibjörg will chair the meeting, guide people in stretching and breathing, and introduce Gurrý, who will discuss the various values of cultivation from different perspectives. She looks to shelter, beauty, the great outdoors, exercise, health, joy and pleasure, seasoned with examples from everyday life, some more serious than others.

Stories and growth straight to the vein

Ingibjörg Valgeirsdóttir is the owner of Saga – Story House, a 5-year-old health-promoting educational company for individuals and businesses, which offers, among other things, stillness walks in the nature of Hafnarfjörður all year round. Guðríður is a horticulturist and biologist, whom we know as Gurrý in the garden. She has worked in horticulture throughout her career and has educated the public about gardening in various ways, on the radio, television, in books, newspaper and magazine articles, and other media.

Free entry and all welcome!
