The youth centre Hamarinn is looking for 8 young people aged 16-19 to participate in a twinning event in Tartu, Estonia, from 20th to 25th May.

Would you like to come with us to Tartu in Estonia and discuss food waste, food production and cultivation?

The Youth Centre The Hammer Seeking 8 young people aged 16-19 with an interest in food waste, food production and growing, to join us for a friendship town exchange in Tartu, Estonia, from 20th - 25th May.

No travel costs for participants; flights, accommodation and board will be paid for.

This is a golden opportunity to practise getting ideas, putting them into action and communicating them, but last but not least, to meet other young people from the Nordic countries with similar interests, ideas and goals.

All you need to do is submit a formal application with a 300-word statement explaining why you believe it is important to combat food waste and promote young people's knowledge of growing, food production and environmental protection. The submission can be in writing, on video, as a podcast, or in any format that suits you, in either Icelandic or English.

The application must be submitted by 11 March to the email address mgm@hafnarfjordur.is.
