Campervans and cars must now leave school grounds.
The school term is starting again. All the caravans, trailers and cars therefore need to be moved from the primary school car parks. Yes, we will. That was supposed to happen before the 10th of August. So, there's nothing for it but to get on with the job.
The school grounds are back in proper use
The school term is starting again and now the camping equipment has to make way from the primary schools' car parks.
The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður offered owners of recreational vehicles the use of car parks at the town's primary schools while the schools were closed. This offer was valid until 10 August. That period has now expired. Owners of caravan trailers, caravan annexes, caravans, motorhomes and other vehicles still on school grounds are therefore kindly asked to remove them as soon as possible.
School work is getting under way
The school term is starting again and it is important that the school grounds and car parks are accessible for staff, pupils and parents as the schools come back to life after the summer holidays. The staff are already back.
