A new website with good advice and information about COVID-19, referencing information from the Office of the Chief Medical Officer and other trusted sources, has been launched. The web address is www.covid.is. The site is run by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer and the Department of Civil Protection of the National Police Commissioner.  Content is updated regularly on the site. 

Traffic change – access to Ástorg closed

The contractor has closed the slip road from the Reykjanesbraut to Ástorg, south-west of the Strandgata bridge, due to roadworks. Diversion routes are via Krýsuvíkurveg and Ásbraut on the one hand, and Kaldárselsveg and Ásbraut on the other. This closure will remain in place until 31 May 2020.
