All houses of the Folk Museum open on Seafarers' Day

• Photographic exhibition on the Strand: The sports town of Hafnarfjörður – Sketches from 1900 – 1980
• The Packhouse, 6 Vesturgata, open 11:00 – 17:00.
  There are three exhibitions in the Packhouse. In the museum's forecourt is the themed exhibition. Always Ready - Scouting for 100 years. The history of the Hraunbúar Scout Group is covered.
  As usual, there is a permanent exhibition on the history of the town from its settlement to the present day, and on the top floor there is a toy exhibition especially for children.
• Bookless Bungalow, 32 Vesturgata, is open from 11:00 to 17:00.
• Siggubær, at 10 Kirkjuvegur, is open from 11:00 to 17:00. The house is preserved as an example of a fisherman's home in Hafnarfjörður from the first half of the 20th century. There you can experience and learn about how the town's ordinary people lived at that time.
