The HEIMA festival returns on the last day of winter
It has become a cherished tradition in Hafnarfjörður ato see off the winter with The HEIMA festival. A warmer, unique music festival in the heart of the town. The festival takes place on 22nd April and offers a unique closeness between musicians and guests in a cosy and personal setting, namely in the living rooms of people in Hafnarfjörður.
At HEIMA, residents in the city centre open their homes to visitors and invite music into their living rooms. In each house, two different artists or bands perform over the course of the evening, creating a special atmosphere that only HEIMA can offer. In addition to the homes, there will be The Free Church in Hafnarfjörður and Town Cinema also among concert venues.
The performers at HEIMA this year are:

Bæjarbíó then takes over, followed by an after-party at Ægi where Andrea Jóns provides the dance atmosphere late into the night. The HEIMA festival is a true celebration where music, a homely warmth and togetherness meet in a unique way. This is an evening to enjoy, strolling between houses and experiencing a diverse range of music in the heart of Hafnarfjörður.
