Tómas Leó Halldórsson, a graphic designer and visual artist, leads an art walk from Hafnarfjörður Library to Víðistaðatún. Along the way, there will be large surfaces for participants to pause at and draw on, responding to what they see, what they have seen along the way, and what is already on the drawing surface. Creation and play are the priorities here, and afterwards, a work of art remains that everyone helped to create. The walk takes about two hours. The walk will start from the Hafnarfjörður Library.
Cultural and Health Walks 2024
This summer, guided town walks are offered every Wednesday. The walks are a collaboration between the Hafnarfjörður Library, the Hafnarfjörður Folk Museum, Hafnarborg and the Healthy Town of Hafnarfjörður. Most walks take about an hour.
