Come for a walk!

Valgerður Hróðmarsdóttir will lead a walk along the Kaldá river and its surroundings. The walk will start from the car park at Helgafell and continue down to the end of the Kaldá, where it is interesting to see how the river disappears into the lava field. From there, the walk will continue around Fremstahöfði and then along Gjáin on the return journey, time permitting.

Cultural and Health Walks 2023

This summer, guided town walks are offered every Wednesday. The walks are a collaboration between the Hafnarfjörður Library, the Hafnarfjörður Folk Museum, Hafnarborg and the Healthy Town of Hafnarfjörður. Most walks take about an hour.
