The exhibition „Ethoríó Galleríó“ at Litla Gallerý features paintings and drawings in a blend of Pop Art and Cubism. The focus is on figurative, Icelandic characteristics and culture, and with humour as his approach, Ethoríó tackles satire that most people can relate to. The inspiration stems from the Icelandic public and his personal experience of life.

Ethoríó began a BA in Fine Art at LHÍ in 2014, completing one year there. In 2017, he moved to the UK where he began studying at Arts University Bournemouth, graduating in 2020 with a BA degree in Fine Arts.

Since then, he has held courses and also taught young children in the capital region in visual arts. He has been an active artist for nearly 15 years. The artist's next step is to go to Sweden for an MA programme in Stockholm.

Ethoríó warmly welcomes visitors, and a special exhibition opening will be held on 11th May from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and everyone is most welcome.

The opening hours are as follows;

Thursday 18:00-20:00

Friday 13:00-18:00

Saturday 12:00-17:00

Sunday 14:00-17:00

The event is sponsored by the Culture and Tourism Committee of the City of Hafnarfjörður.
