Lightfoot, Hiking Hero and Obstacle King
The 2023 Ratleiks Hafnarfjarðar Harvest Festival will be held at Hafnarborg on Thursday, 28 September at 18:30. At the ceremony, the Lightfoot, Walker, and Adventurer of the 2023 Hafnarfjörður Ratleikur will be named, and the runners-up in each category will also receive prizes. Additionally, many lucky participants who attend the awards ceremony will be drawn and will also receive prizes! The ceremony will be held in the main hall of Hafnarborg, and refreshments will be served.

About the Hafnarfjörður Rat Race
The Hafnarfjörður Scavenger Hunt began for the 26th time in June 2023. The aim of this popular scavenger hunt has always been to lead participants far and wide across the Hafnarfjörður hinterland to enjoy the great outdoors and nature. 27 markers are placed far and wide across the Hafnarfjörður uplands and even into neighbouring municipalities. Participants receive a free, high-quality orienteering map and search for the 27 orienteering markers. Some of the markers are close to the town and others a little further away. Guðni Gíslason designed the game, which is published by Hönnunarhúsið ehf. in collaboration with the City of Hafnarfjörður. For years, Ómar Smári Ármannsson has assisted with selecting geocache locations and writing trivia, as he is the most familiar with the Reykjanes Peninsula and runs the information website ferlir.is.
