Wednesday, 22 March at 2 pm We welcome guests to the next event Perspectives, an educational programme for older people, at Hafnarborg. An expert from the museum will then discuss works from the Hafnarborg's collection, which now comprises nearly 1,600 works by many of the pioneers of Icelandic art as well as leading contemporary artists, in addition to works related to the museum's exhibition history or that shed light on the history of the town of Hafnarfjörður.
Perspective is a programme that began at Hafnarborg in spring 2022. The museum focuses on giving everyone the opportunity to experience culture and the arts, and offers guided tours for all age groups. The aim is to provide an insight into the activities of Hafnarborg, current exhibitions or unique works from the collection through monthly events during the winter season. Coffee and refreshments are offered after the programme.
Free admission – see you at Hafnarborg.
