Pétur Gautur, visual artist and Artist in Residence of Hafnarfjörður 2023, opens his art exhibition at Bæjarbíó. Thursday 13 July, 4–5.30 pm and everyone is welcome.
The exhibition is held in collaboration with the town festival Hjarta Hafnarfjarðar, and the paintings will be on display in the foyer of Bæjarbíó for the duration of the festival, until 3 August.
These are new paintings, oil on canvas, where the subject matter is the kind of still lifes for which Pétur is known.
