Let's care about LGBTQ+ issues in Hafnarfjörður.

Queer Get-togethers in Hafnarfjörður – HHH – recently celebrated its first anniversary, and the organisers would therefore like to invite everyone for coffee, education and a chat. HHH offers a queer social club for young people every Thursday in the sports hall at Lækjarskóli. Every Thursday evening is open to young people born 2007-2009 from 19:30-22:00, and twice a month there is a middle school activity for children born 2010-2012 between 17:00-19:00.

All welcome of all ages!

The aim of the open house is to offer curious people and those who wish to increase their knowledge of queer issues the opportunity to learn about the work. It is also an ideal opportunity for school and nursery staff, parents/guardians, and other family members of queer young people to learn about the work. 🙌🏻

Programme at the open house:

  • Introduction to the work of HHH
  • Queer 101; Ástrós Erla, a social worker and educator at Samtökin ‘78, arrives, fully informed about the queer spectrum.
  • Open chat with the HHH staff!
  • Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
Wheelchair access in the Lækjarskóli sports hall is good.
