Singing Festival at Hafnarborg will be held for the tenth time on 13 to 28 June 2026. The festival is dedicated to classical music, poetry, opera and choral singing, but its aim is to honour classical vocal music and to increase public knowledge of the art of the voice through concerts and courses.
This year's Singing Festival at Hafnarborg will feature eight concerts with outstanding Icelandic and international singers and instrumentalists, as well as courses for children and adults, amateurs and professionals alike. The founders and directors of the Song Festival are mezzo-soprano Guðrún Jóhanna Ólafsdóttir and guitarist Francisco Javier Jáuregui.
