Summer Reading Celebration! Now that everyone has read themselves fit, they're all set for school! We're throwing a party – and there'll be plenty to enjoy: a play, arts and crafts, prizes, a game swap, treats and fun.
The programme starts at 12:00 with a story time and a draw for the final Summer Reading Challenge prize, and all children who hand in their reading diaries will receive a prize! We'll be holding a dance workshop to get our blood pumping and have some fun before we sit down to watch the play about Raisin from Syrupia, the most demanding princess in the world, brought to us by the Kvistur Theatre Group.
After that, the one and only Starfish Sævar will be here, who will read from his books and tell us about exciting things from the world and the universe, before we draw the reader of the year!
12:00 – Story time, dancing and arts and crafts + return of reading diaries
13:00 – The Play about Raisin from Syrupia, the most rebellious princess in the world
2 pm – Stjörnu Sævar reads from and draws from the Reading Horse Diaries
