Come and fish

On Wednesday, 24th June, the annual angling competition will take place at Flensburg Pier for children from Hafnarfjörður aged six to twelve.

The competition starts at around 13:30 and the children fish until 14:30. Prizes are then awarded.

There will be competition in three categories – most fish, biggest fish and oddest fish 2026.

Tackle and bait will be available on site.

The staff of Hafnarfjörður Borough are responsible for the supervision in the area.

All interested children aged 6-12 are encouraged to take part!
