The festival will be tonight!

The Hafnarfjörður Primary School Festival 2025 will be held on 6 February from 19:30 to 22:00 at the Strandgata Sports Hall. The festivities begin at 19:30 and the party ends at 22:00. This year's theme is Black & Sparkle, and all schools have organised a decorating competition in the run-up to the event, with many holding themed days. The primary school festival was due to be held yesterday, Wednesday 5th February, but was postponed due to the weather. As the weather forecast is better for this evening and the civil defence authorities have given the green light for the celebration, it has been decided not to wait and to hold the festival tonight, much to everyone's delight. Up to 850 pupils are expected at the primary school festival.
