Jónína Guðbjörg Guðbjartsdóttir is holding an exhibition at Litla Gallerý Strandgötu 19 in Hafnarfjörður from 15th to 18th December. The title of the exhibition is True colours – A Splendour of Colour in a New Light.

Jónína Guðbjörg Guðbjartsdóttir is a fine art photographer and cinematographer based in Norway. TRUE COLOURS is part of Jónína's Master's thesis in Fine Arts at Den Norske Filmskolen. In 2021, she won awards and recognition for two images from the TRUE COLOURS exhibition in the international photography competition The International Photography Awards™ (IPA).

Jónína specialises in visual design, with a focus on the interplay of light and colour in her work.

The work TRUE COLOURS consists of photographs of Icelandic nature, taken using infrared technology. This reveals a riot of colour that shows the world in a different light. Jónína also recorded sound at each location where she took photographs, and the composer Arndís Rán Snæþórsdóttir created a musical work based on these sounds.

Jónína gives a warm welcome to guests, and everyone is welcome!
