Summer is celebrated with a varied programme on the first day of summer in Hafnarfjörður. Swimming is free at Ásvallalaug and Suðurbæjarlaug on the occasion of the day.
We celebrate summer with an ambitious and varied programme for the whole family. Festivities will take place all over town to mark the occasion, including a run, a family workshop, Circus Íslands, a Scout service, a parade, a family programme on Thorsplan organised by the Hraunbúar Scout Group, a history walk, a grandparent and grandchild film screening, and a comedy night.
