Invitation to all three of the town's swimming pools

The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður is offering residents of Grindavík free admission to all three of its swimming pools. All information about the town's swimming pools; opening times, location and the facilities at each pool can be found here. Swimming Pools | Hafnarfjörður (hafnarfjordur.is). The offer is valid from opening tomorrow, Sunday, but please note that the Suðurbær Pool on Hringbraut is only open tomorrow. Ásvallalaug and the Hafnarfjörður Swimming Hall will then reopen early on Monday morning, and all pools will be open until the evening all week.

Skating in the heart of Hafnarfjörður

In collaboration with Bæjarbíó, the City of Hafnarfjörður is also offering Grindvíkingar free skating in the heart of Hafnarfjörður. The Heart Rink opened yesterday, Friday, in front of Bæjarbíó and the Hafnarfjörður Library and will be open every weekend until Christmas. Fridays from 16:00 to 21:00, Saturdays from 12:00 to 21:00 and Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00. There will be a special additional opening at the Heart Slope on Monday, 13th November from 13:00 to 18:00 for planning days in Hafnarfjörður, and throughout the rest of the week for residents of Grindavík. From Tuesday, 14 November, residents of Grindavík will be able to book leisure trips via tix.is, but until then, residents are simply invited to attend Hjartasvellið on Sunday, 12 November from 12-18 and on Monday 13th November from 13-18. Skates and helmets will be available on site for everyone, and a warm welcome awaits.
