Hafnarfjörður Run – Limited traffic
The FH athletics department is holding a competitive race on the streets of Hafnarfjörður and will need to close or restrict traffic in many areas during the event., Between 19:30 and 21:40, on Thursday, 12th June.
This is a major road race in the streets of Hafnarfjörður. The race route can be seen on the attached map. Some streets will be completely closed during the race, and elsewhere traffic will be controlled.
Completely closed:
- West Street from Town Square to Krossaeyra Road, westbound lane – closed from 19:50 to 20:50.
- Strandgata from Lækjartorg to Flensborgartorg, southbound lane – closed from 20:00 to 21:20.
- Strandgata pedestrianised from Lækjargata to Bæjartorg, the entire street – closed from 19:30 to 21:30.
- Lækjargata from Brekkugata to Fjarðartorg – closed from 19:30-21:30
