No appointment is necessary, just turn up. There's no need to meet any age requirement or to discuss a specific topic. Everyone is welcome, whatever is on their mind.
Valdimar has been the mayor since the beginning of the year. He already offers residents consultation hours on Tuesday mornings. An appointment must be booked by calling 585 5506. But now is an opportunity to meet him face-to-face at Thorsplan.
Valdimar has been a city councillor in Hafnarfjörður since the 2022 local elections. He was an alternate city councillor for the 2018-2022 term. He moved to Hafnarfjörður in 2008 and began working as deputy head teacher of Öldutúnsskóli, becoming head teacher in 2013. Since the turn of the year, he has not only held open surgeries but has also visited all of the council's facilities.
