Kaldárselsvegur partially closed 3-5 July
Kaldársel Road at the junction/turning for Hvaleyrarvatnsvegur will be closed from 9 a.m. on Monday, 3rd July until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 5th July. The road is closed for resurfacing works, which will include milling of the old bitumen, scarifying and compaction, as well as a new surface layer. A diversion is in place via Sörlaskeið (the stables area).
Hvaleyrarvatnsvegur from Kaldárselsvegur is closed while works are carried out.
